Doug Devine

Douglas Devine is Chief Executive Officer of Element Science, a medical device and digital health company focused on transforming care for patients at risk of sudden cardiac arrest. With more than 30 years of experience building and scaling technology businesses, Doug has held senior leadership roles across healthcare technology, advancing manufacturing, finance and operations.

Prior to joining Element Science, Doug served as Chief Financial Officer of Evident Microscopy. Previously, he held several executive leadership roles at iRhythm Technologies, including Interim Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, helping guide the company through significant operational and commercial growth. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Financial Officer of GlobalFoundries and held senior finance leadership roles at NVIDIA, Intel, UTAC, Soraa, and Stion.

Doug joined Element Science because he believes the Jewel® Patch Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator has the potential to address an important gap in cardiovascular care, particularly patient compliance with wearable defibrillator therapy. As CEO, he is focused on building the leadership team and capabilities needed to support the company's next phase of growth and expand access to Jewel.

Doug believes great technology is only the beginning of building a successful company and emphasizes transparency, accountability and execution. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.
