Jason Weidman serves as the President of Medtronic’s Coronary & Renal Denervation operating unit. In this role, he leads the strategic direction and execution for the approximately $1.5B operating unit, focused on improving the health of patients with coronary artery disease and uncontrolled hypertension.
Prior to his current role, Jason served as President of the Aortic, Peripheral & Venous division for three years. Under his leadership, the $2B division capitalized on Medtronic’s unique portfolio breadth within vascular segments, positioning the business to drive substantial new growth with a number of innovative product introductions and acquisitions.
Jason joined Medtronic in 2006 and worked in several roles of increasing responsibility in the Coronary business, culminating as its Vice President and General Manager. Jason is a champion for gender and racial equity and leads the Medtronic Women Network’s Men Advocating Equity group. He is also a recipient of the Medtronic Wallin Leadership Award for talent development and business results.
