Peter Polverini III, MBA

Peter Polverini III serves as Vice President of the Interventional MRI (iMRI) Division at Cook Medical, where he leads the development and commercialization of MRI-guided interventional solutions. His work is focused on advancing image-guided procedures that improve precision, expand clinical capabilities, and eliminate radiation exposure in interventional care.
Peter joined Cook Medical in 2008 and has held leadership roles across sales, product management, clinical programs, and strategic development. He previously served as Global Product Manager for the Zilver PTX drug-eluting stent, supporting its global launch, and later as Global Clinical Program Manager, where he led key clinical initiatives across the vascular portfolio.
He also served as Senior Director of Business Development for the Vascular Division, along with serving as head of Healthcare Innovation, and Strategy at Cook Regentec and, where he led strategic partnerships, new venture development, and innovation initiatives, and was responsible for building and managing strategic alliances.
Peter holds U.S. and international patents and has been actively involved in advancing new technologies and business models in the medical device space.
Pete resides in Bloomington, Indiana, with his wife Amanda and two sons, Dominik and Rocco. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Otterbein University and an MBA, summa cum laude, from Purdue University Global.
