Arieh Halpern is passionate about the medical device industry, has been with Dassault Systemes for nine years, and was a key team member in defining the product requirements for our Global Market Registration and UDI solutions within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, working closely with Jay Crawley and team at the FDA.
Currently Mr. Halpern is a Life Science Business Development Sales Manager specializing in supporting sales engagements with customers developing medical devices, combination products, digital health, and Software as a Medical device products. Mr. Halpern provides support in defining new solutions in collaboration with life science customers (i.e. EU MDR on Post Market Clinical Follow-Up, Labeling Claims Management), is an active member of the company’s Living Heart project consortium in the application of computational modeling & simulation in the design verification & validation, clinical and regulatory applications and the inSilico clinical trial program.
Mr. Halpern brings expertise within the total product lifecycle development process of a medical product from ideation to end-of-life and how Dassault Systemes solutions map within the total development process.
In total, Mr. Halpern has over twenty eight years of US and international success in the medical device, combination products, digital health and Software as a Medical Device market. Throughout his career Mr. Halpern has been fortunate to have been directly involved with senior leadership teams in envisioning and leading new product innovation technologies that have changed the standard of care, improving patient / clinical outcomes and quality of life. His experience spans a range of functional areas, including global product marketing (up/downstream), new product development, strategic business planning, M&A, new market development, sales planning, product portfolio management, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical trials, product development, and program / project management leading cross functional development teams from innovation through end-of-life with major medical device companies (Medtronic Diabetes, GE HC, Cardiac Science, Bear Medical Systems) and early-stage start-ups. In his free time Mr. Halpern is a mentor providing support to start-up medical device companies.
