Mr. Huennekens is a successful entrepreneur in medical devices, having been a part as a CEO, board member and investor in 10+ startups with market valuations totaling over $5B. He is currently President & CEO of Verb Surgical, Google and J&J’s new Surgical Robotics start-up to revolutionize the future of surgery. The company is located on the Google campus in Mountain View, Ca. The big vision is to democratize surgery globally so the 5 billion people without access to surgery can have the benefits of surgery. He was employee #1 in August of 2015. Previously, Scott led Volcano Corp. (NASDAQ: VOLC) from April, 2002 as employee #11. He was the first and only President & CEO and led Volcano from start-up to its IPO in June 2006 and 2015 revenue > $400+ million and a market capitalization that peaked at nearly $2 billion before its sale to Philips in February 2015. Mr. Huennekens graduated Magna Cum Laude with BS in Business Administration from the Univ. of Southern California in 1986 and earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1991.
