Cecilia Soriano is the global president of Baxter’s Infusion Therapies and Technologies division, a $4 billion business. Soriano joined Baxter in 2023, bringing more than 25 years of experience across the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. She most recently served as Global Vice President/General Manager of Microbiology at Becton Dickinson (BD) and has held various marketing, commercial and business roles at both BD and Johnson & Johnson. Her experience also includes serving as Global Co-Chair of the Women’s Initiative Network while at BD. Soriano earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Belgrano in her home country of Argentina, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech University. She also completed the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School Executive Leadership Program. In her free time, Soriano enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, reading, skiing and staying active.
