Important Announcement Regarding DeviceTalks 2020 and the Covid-19 Pandemic
Previously, WTWH Media, the producer of the DeviceTalks Conferences, announced that the event was going forward as per normal. Since that time, WTWH Media has been closely monitoring information posted by the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and the Santa Clara County Public Health Office, and abiding by their recommendations.
After much consideration, and in consultation with numerous DeviceTalks sponsors, partners and speakers, WTWH Media has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 DeviceTalks events in both Minnesota and San Jose until 2021. At this time the DeviceTalks event held in Boston is still moving forward as planned.
It has always been the aim of WTWH Media to deliver a world class DeviceTalks event that exceeds expectations. At this time there is simply too much uncertainty regarding the Covid-19 pandemic to produce and market the DeviceTalks event in a way that maximizes value for sponsors, partners and attendees.
DeviceTalks Tuesday and Podcast Series
We look forward to working with you on other medtech media and event initiatives. This includes our new weekly DeviceTalks Tuesday program and our DeviceTalks Podcast Series.
DeviceTalks Tuesdays is our safe, convenient – and we hope temporary – alternative to conferences. Each week, the editorial team at Device Talks will organize discussions and workshops for Medtech companies who want to ensure their teams are atop of this changing world.
The DeviceTalks Podcast Series will bring the energy and insights of our medtech events to you via iTunes, Spotify and other podcasts channels. Hosted by our DeviceTalks editorial director Tom Salemi, the DeviceTalks podcast will tell the stories of the entrepreneurs, executives and other leaders who have committed their careers to making medtech better.
Thank you for your patience and support during these uncertain times.
